# El Conjugador

> El Conjugador (elconjugador.com) is a free Spanish conjugation reference and tool. It conjugates any Spanish verb in every tense and mood, finds the infinitive/tense/mood behind a conjugated form (reverse conjugation), suggests corrections for misspelled verbs, spells out numbers in Spanish, and explains Spanish verb grammar (moods, tenses, groups, gerund, voseo, imperative, subject pronouns, tonic accent...). It is aimed at anyone learning or working with Spanish — students, teachers, translators, learners at any level — not only native speakers. The site is available in 6 languages: French, Spanish, English, German, Italian and Portuguese.

Conjugation results and grammar pages are plain server-rendered HTML, one URL per verb/tense combination, which makes them straightforward to fetch and parse.

- [Full conjugation](https://www.elconjugador.com/php5/api.php?v={verb}): returns every tense and mood of a Spanish verb as JSON (indicative, subjunctive, imperative, infinitive, gerund, participle), plus spelling-correction suggestions if the verb doesn't exist (`caracteristique.propose`) and similar verbs (`similaire`). Replace `{verb}` with the infinitive. Optional `p` parameter to change the conjugation: `F`=feminine, `N`=negation, `Q`=question, `P`=pronominal, `O`=forced, `C`=no cache, `2`/`3`=alternate form. `v=gencache` returns the conjugation of the most frequent Spanish verbs in a single call. Common misspellings (e.g. `aver`, `desir`) are auto-corrected to the right infinitive.
